She grew up on the north side of town, first in Frayser and then Millington, graduating from Millington High School. She received both her bachelor’s and her master’s degrees from the University of Memphis, in marketing management and finance, respectively.
After Churchill met and married her husband, Brian Churchill, they lived in the Southwind area. But after Brian died and her son, Gavin Winsett, graduated from Germantown High School, Churchill thought the timing was right to try something new.
“I knew it would make sense for me financially to buy a home and not rent much longer,” said Churchill. “I started exploring housing options on Zillow and found that there were not as many condominiums out east as I had hoped.”
Churchill had set her sights on buying a condo because she thought it would be the best fit for her lifestyle. Professionally, she was a pioneer in the e-learning industry and now manages learning technology for Smith & Nephew. It is a global role in which she does the training and manages the e-learning platforms used by approximately 10,000 sales reps.
